Fiction as Play

Basically means this: It is quite probable that we can remove fiction from games and they will still be percieved as games.

This means games don’t have to have characters and settings or anything of that nature. It also means the opposite, creating a game specifically without fiction, is possible.

Can gamification lead to services that are played but still have a practical purpose? According to this, probably.

Not sure if I believe this is completely accurate. But still very interesting.
